Intermediate Power - Carbine Length - Buffer Spring
The Intermediate Power Buffer Spring is a balance between the design loads of the White and Blue spring.
This recoil spring is for use with 5.56 AR-15s with a carbine or mid-length gas system and carbine buffer tube. When we had some calls from customers wishing for a spring that was in between the performance of a White or Blue spring, we had them try out the discarded springs on a trial basis, and they turned out to be perfect for their needs, thus, the evolution of the Hot White spring for tuning purposes. Color Coded RED & WHITE.

General Informations
Why do we assign "COLORS" to our buffer springs? We have tens of thousands of buffer springs in various stages of enhancement or in inventory in our facility. This practice is beneficial to both you as the end user and for our employees to identify for quality control and fulfillment. We use Dykem® Opaque Metal Staining Dye to color code the springs, (not rattle can spray paint) during the QC and packaging process. This practice has become the standard industry reference for our different springs. Should you encounter fishy looking deals on internet auction sites, please send us an image for product validation, as there have been a very small intrusion of color coded imposters floating around from time to time that to the trained eye, are glaringly apparent from their advertising images and/or descriptions.
Sprinco buffer springs are made from high quality Chrome Silicon wire stock which is used in a variety of applications from Formula One to motor valve springs which can see up to 15,000,000 compression cycles in a single race.

- ASTM Grade A877 Certified Valve Quality Chrome silicon Wirestock
- Heat Treated, Stress Relieved and Dual Stage Shot-Peened post winding (Our springs really ARE shot-peened)
- Impregnation / Plating with Re-Micronized Molybdenum Disulfide formulation
- Hard plastic tube packaging for protected transport and easy storage (Tubes make great storage compartments for all sorts of gear)
- Optional Cryogenic Processing Available (Select Item 26001)

For your AR15, M16, M4. Carbine receiver extension (buffer tube) machined from 7075T6 and manufactured to Mil-Spec dimensions and specifications. Mil-Spec receiver extensions have a slightly smaller dimension where the stock slides on.
