Over time the shell becomes loose in the shell holder. The GG&G solid shell retainer with a speced durometer reading, retains its form resulting in a tight fit that you can count on for years of use. SPECS: As easy to install as changing a car tire. No modifications are required to the weapon for installation. The 1301 2 Shot Mag Tube is easy to install as long as you have a working knowledge of how to break down your shotgun to perform maintenance procedures. The Beretta 1301 Extension Tube comes with the Beretta barrel clamp. No modification to the shotgun is required. **IMPORTANT NOTICE**  READ IT!!! If undetected, the nut could loosen enough to potentially cause a catostrophic malfunction. To avert this potential we include, and strongly advise you use, the barrel clamp included in the GG&G package.
