Enhanced Power - Carbine Length - Buffer Spring + 4-COIL Bolt Extractor Spring

The design loads of the Blue spring are approximately 15% greater than the White spring for one of the considered Load Constants in the spring design.

This recoil spring is color coded blue indicating that it is optimal for use with 5.56 AR-15s with a mid-length gas system and carbine buffer tube. Sprinco has extensively tested this setup and have concluded that it works great with 5.56 AR-15’s with a barrel length from 12.5” to 16” and either a standard or H2 buffer weight. It also helps you to easily identify which power spring you have in your AR-15 if you have a habit of changing your setup constantly. Color Coded BLUE.

M16 4-COIL Features:

This 4 coil extractor spring is designed for AR-15/M16 bolt carrier groups and provides the same spring pressure as OEM springs for use in 18"+ rifles.

ADVANTAGES:

• Enhanced 4-Coil springs maintain an extended duty cycle oad of a NEW Mil-Spec spring and is recommended for use in 18"+ barrel lenghts upward for those who retieve their brass for reloading.
• While the XP 5-Coil spring is totally reliable for all 5.56 BBL lengths, it can be aggressive on case rims in 18"+ rifles, and may be too strong for some bolts with extremely tight bolt face tolerances.

General Informations

Why do we assign "COLORS" to our buffer springs? We have tens of thousands of buffer springs in various stages of enhancement or in inventory in our facility. This practice is beneficial to both you as the end user and for our employees to identify for quality control and fulfillment. We use Dykem® Opaque Metal Staining Dye to color code the springs, (not rattle can spray paint) during the QC and packaging process. This practice has become the standard industry reference for our different springs. Should you encounter fishy looking deals on internet auction sites, please send us an image for product validation, as there have been a very small intrusion of color coded imposters floating around from time to time that to the trained eye, are glaringly apparent from their advertising images and/or descriptions.

Sprinco buffer springs are made from high quality Chrome Silicon wire stock which is used in a variety of applications from Formula One to motor valve springs which can see up to 15,000,000 compression cycles in a single race.
