With a 12.5” barrel it’s the longest configuration in the RESOLUTE® series, offering the right blend between maneuverability and ballistic performance. The Mk47 platform is CMMG’s mid-size AR platform, utilizing more robust receivers and components, like our PowerBolt Technology, without adding unneeded bulkiness. If the magwell on the Mk47s looks ready to take AK-pattern magazines, you would be right. Since AK magazines were designed around the 7.62x39mm cartridge we figured if it’s not broke why fix it?

When it comes to the platform, Mk47 is a unique mid-size hybrid that uses larger more robust components in a scaled-down form factor, like our PowerBolt Technology, for maximum durability without the unnecessary bulk and weight of the larger Mk3(AR10/LR308) platform for 7.62x39mm.

From the quick deploying RIPSTOCK®, to the stylized receivers and EML™ handguards, every RESOLUTE with 12.5 inch barrel is tailor-made to be the personal defense weapon you can always depend on. With full length M-LOK® slots on both sides and the bottom of the handguard as well as M-LOK between the top picatinny rail sections, you’ll always have enough space for those must have accessories.
