It has been rigorously tested by Breakthrough Clean Technologies® and suppressor manufacturers with impressive results. The recommended cleaning process is submersion in the Suppressor Cleaner. The duration needed depends on the cleanliness of the suppressor. If you are cleaning on a regular schedule that coincides with the cleaning of the firearm, it could be leaving the suppressor in the cleaner for as little as one hour. However, if cleaning the suppressor after multiple significant shooting sessions, it may require soaking for 8-12 hours to get the caked on contaminates to release. After soaking, shoot several rounds (supersonic is recommended) through the suppressor to eject the loosened fouling.
